Dungeons and raids

The level ranges of all nine new dungeons come from Blizzard: Kaivax published the complete table on 15 September 2026 while correcting the one for Krol'dok Stronghold. The encounters on the two dungeons open in the beta come from the beta client, not from an announcement. One range has moved since: the development notes of 1 October open the Excavation Site for 26 to 31, not 24 to 29. Blizzard's dungeon overview of 20 October prints 24 to 29 again; the client (1.60.1.70450) keeps the minimum level at 26, so this page stays with the notes and the client.
Old dungeons, new items
Since the build of 1 October Blizzard lists eleven Classic dungeons as open in the beta, from Ragefire Chasm to Uldaman. Three have a page here so far - the ones whose loot tables have been read and compared, because Forever has been through them. What follows is what changed, not how to run them. Everyone has known that for twenty years.
Raid unlocks · December 9, 2026
Barrow Deeps
Max-level raid beneath Kalimdor - the prison that held Illidan Stormrage for ten thousand years. Eight bosses, three entrances via Mount Hyjal, Winterspring and Blackmaw Hold. New tier sets, the legendary reward is still under wraps.
Hyjal Summit
Thirteen bosses at the summit near Nordrassil: an ancient guardian first, then several routes through ruins above and below ground. Who or what is draining the power from the land around the summit?
Onyxia's Lair
The classic 40-player raid - part of the roadmap's raid unlocks on the same date, not a new raid. The Drakefire Amulet attunement stays.
Darkspear Islands
New battleground off the coast of Kalimdor: strategic control points plus Arathi-Basin-style captures.
