Why this page exists
On December 9, 2026, three raids unlock in WoW: Forever, not two. The roadmap graphic from the panel lists:

Blizzard's own panel recap names only the two new raids. Read the recap and you arrive at two; look at the roadmap graphic and you arrive at three. Both are correct on their own terms — they simply count different things.
What Onyxia's Lair is
Onyxia's Lair is the Classic 40-player raid in Dustwallow Marsh in Kalimdor, where the black dragon Onyxia waits for her attackers. In Classic it sat behind a long faction-specific attunement chain — for the Alliance the Marshal Windsor questline, for the Horde the chain running through the Dragonmurk and beyond.
What the unlock means
In WoW: Forever, Onyxia's Lair is not new content but a timed release of existing content — standard practice for Classic progression phases. If you have seen "two new raids" and "three raids" side by side, this is the resolution.
Still open
Whether Blizzard keeps, adjusts or drops the attunement questline in Forever is unknown. There is likewise no word on changes to loot or encounters.
