What the beta still has to open
Blizzard has named four things still to come in this test and put a date on exactly none of them. Everywhere else those four have dates. This page is that difference, item by item.
The changes that carry no build number
No new client has shipped since 24 September. The data changed anyway - on the 26th three times and again on the 27th. Trackers that watch the build number reported nothing, and they were not wrong.
A set assembled out of loot people already had
Rotmender's Raiment is five cloth pieces for a levelling healer. Two of them were already in the game under different names, and they changed without a patch note. It is the rare datamined find that sits under the beta's level cap.
Why these pages are filed apart from the rest
Every other section here describes Forever as it will be. These pages describe the version a few thousand people can install right now - and that is a different subject, because it changes under you. Three of the four pieces of news in the last week came with no client build behind them at all.
The section exists because the difference between three words keeps getting lost everywhere else. Confirmed means Blizzard wrote it down. Reported means somebody played it or read it out of the client files and published what they found. Guessed means a plausible conclusion drawn from the launch layout, and the giveaway is usually a date nobody was given. All three regularly appear in the same paragraph on other sites, in the same typeface.
That matters most where the numbers are. The beta stops at level 20 and rises to 30 at a point Blizzard has not named. Anything quoting a level 40 talent build, a dungeon at 45 or a raid boss order as tested is not resting on this client, because this client cannot get there.
What is written here goes out of date on purpose. A page in this section says which build, which day and which source it is standing on, and when that stops being true it gets corrected rather than quietly rewritten. The beta ends on October 21; after that these pages become a record of what the test looked like, and the sections about the finished game take over.
