"New map" and "redrawn" describe the file in the client, not the place on it: Stormwind has a new map and is not a new city, and the Eastern Plaguelands appear twice - once new, once redrawn. Only the five marked "new in Forever" show somewhere that did not exist in Classic. These maps come out of the Forever data build, not out of an announcement. Blizzard has confirmed the four new regions and the Hyjal raid; everything else here is what the client files held on 2026-09-17, and names, borders and whole zones can still change before launch. The zone names are our own reading of the maps - the source carries no label beyond "Forever World Map 12".
