How the trees work, what changed for Forever, and how to share a build.
Do I have to commit to one build?
No. Forever includes dual spec, so a character holds two talent builds and switches between them. Plan both here and keep the link for each — the distribution travels in the address.
How many talent points do you get in WoW: Forever?
51 points at level 60, the permanent cap. You earn the first one at level 10 and one per level after that, so the full build is only available at the cap.
Are these the Forever talents or the Classic ones?
The Forever trees as shown at BlizzCon 2026 — 470 talents across the nine classes, including the reworked and newly added ones. Blizzard has not released a beta client yet, so individual values may still change.
How does a row unlock?
Every five points spent in a tree opens the next row of that tree. A talent with an arrow pointing at it additionally needs its predecessor at full rank.
Can you share a talent build?
Yes. The distribution is encoded in the address, so copying the link is enough — no account and no saving. The link also survives a switch between English and German.
Which classes are covered?
All nine: Warrior, Paladin, Hunter, Rogue, Priest, Shaman, Mage, Warlock and Druid. The Skyborne race unlocks Shaman for the Horde and Mage for the Alliance.
