At the campfire
The Tanning Rack is the leatherworker's campsite object — and the only one of the named objects that does not merely hand out a buff: Blizzard describes it as required for more advanced leatherworking recipes. Making those means having a campsite.
A placed campfire becomes a campsite with vendors, repairs, profession workspaces and one-hour buffs, once you sit down and rest. Up to three profession objects fit around a Basic Campfire, each player nearby contributes one, and they share a one-hour cooldown.
Every profession has three different objects: the first at skill level 20, the advanced ones from Blueprint recipes dropped by specific dungeon bosses.

More than 600 new recipes are being added across all professions and level ranges.
What is not known yet
Blizzard has announced nothing about leatherworking's perk. Figures for it are circulating from a recording of BlizzCon 2026; since they do not come from an announcement, they are not listed here.
The beta from September 17, 2026 is the first build on which this can be checked.
