Enchanting

Blizzard has said nothing specific about enchanting so far. What holds, holds for every profession — and that is still a fair amount.

Where things stand

For the camping system Blizzard named six professions along with their objects — enchanting was not among them. What is confirmed is therefore only what applies to every profession. That says nothing about the scale of the changes, only about what is public so far.

At the campfire

Every profession brings three different campsite objects, learned at different skill levels. The first comes at skill level 20, the advanced ones from Blueprint recipes that drop from specific dungeon bosses. Each profession contributes its own buff or utility.

A placed campfire becomes a campsite with vendors, repairs, profession workspaces and one-hour buffs — available once you sit down and rest. Up to three objects fit around a Basic Campfire, each player nearby contributes one, and they share a one-hour cooldown.

What applies to every profession

More than 600 new recipes are being added across all professions and level ranges. The stated aim is that the profession you pick should be felt early, not only at the level cap.

What is not known yet

Which object the enchanter places, what perk the profession carries, and what changes about enchants themselves — none of it has been announced. Figures are circulating from a recording of BlizzCon 2026; since they do not come from an announcement, they are not listed here.

The beta from September 17, 2026 is the first build on which this can be checked. This page will grow then.
