Cormack fought the undead in the Scarlet Crusade. Now he is one of them, raised as Forsaken. The story asks the question the new class combination rests on: "can a Forsaken still serve the Light?"
It was written by Sean Copeland, illustrated by Surfside 3D and narrated by Jesse Burch. It comes as a PDF and as a video of about six and a half minutes.
Why it matters
Undead paladins are one of the six new race and class combinations Forever launches with. According to Blizzard's interview with MeinMMO, they also get quests of their own. "Unbowed" supplies the story: a Forsaken calling on the Light is no longer a contradiction in this era, but it remains the exception.
It fits the timeline in this site's lore section: Forever is set after the Forsaken Kingdom campaign from Warcraft III: Reforged, at a time when the Forsaken are only beginning to find their place.
