When it starts
Every region starts at the same moment, 23:00 UTC on November 4. Blizzard's table converts that to local time:
| Region | Local time |
|---|---|
| Americas (PST) | November 4, 3:00 p.m. |
| Brazil (BRT) | November 4, 8:00 p.m. |
| United Kingdom (GMT) | November 4, 11:00 p.m. |
| Central Europe | November 5, 12:00 a.m. |
| Taiwan | November 5, 7:00 a.m. |
| Korea (KST) | November 5, 8:00 a.m. |
| Australia and New Zealand (AEDT) | November 5, 10:00 a.m. |
Blizzard labels the European row "CST". It means Central European Time - midnight is exactly 23:00 UTC. This matches the date this site already gave.
Classic or Enhanced
On first login, before you pick a ruleset, Forever shows a screen with two Experience Presets. Blizzard's three guides from October 28 and 29 describe them like this:
| Classic | Enhanced | |
|---|---|---|
| Character models | Standard Definition | High Definition |
| Quest points of interest and objective areas | off | on |
| One bag | off | on |
| Transmog | off | on |
| Keybinds | turning | strafing |
| Interface | Classic screen layout | Centralized screen layout |
Blizzard's advice: "If you are not sure which to choose, start with Enhanced." The preset is only a starting point. Every setting can be changed later under Options → System → Preset, but the screen itself only appears once. Whether a character uses the old or new models is chosen per character and can be changed in the options or at a Barbershop.
What else the guides pin down
- Groups only within ruleset and faction: "Characters can group, join guilds, run dungeons, and raid only with players on the same Ruleset and faction."
- Controllers are supported, but "in a beta state".
- Professions: two primary professions per character, plus all three secondary ones.
- Secondary name: can be hidden above your own head via Options → Nameplates → My Secondary Name; it still shows in chat.
- Skyborne: Druid, Hunter, Rogue and Warrior on both sides. The Alliance also gets Mage, the Horde Shaman. The race needs the Heroic Pack or higher.
The remaining figures repeat what was known: more than 1,000 new quests, more than 150 of them in the Riverglades, nine dungeons for levels 13 to 60, and the Darkspear Islands from level 30.
What this changes here
The presets were not on any page yet. The launch time, grouping only within a ruleset and the Skyborne classes agree with what this site already says.
